Five Best: Spring candles

As I mentioned in a previous post, I love using diffusers and candles around the home. Lighting up candles by my fireplace whilst I relax after a stressful day at work feels really nice and I love doing it all year round. I wanted to find some candles with zesty spring fragrances and I discovered some great quality brands...

1. In pretty packaging, this Jasmine and Lilac Heyland & Whittle candle is from their new home collection. Sumptuous berries, oranges and lemons blend with a euphoric bouquet of jasmine, lilac and lavender, with a warm cedar base. £22. The perfect spring fragrance also comes in diffuser form

2. There's nothing that wakes me up better than a nice, strong smell of lemon or lime. This Boujies Lemon & Verbena candle from the Maison Vive collection smells divine and is perfect for bringing spring into a small room. Priced at only £12 it's got a great burning time of 35 hours

3. This signature VOYA blend of 100% organic seaweed, essential oils and natural beeswax makes the hand crafted candle the perfect luxe treat to indulge, revive and restore the senses. The essence of zesty mandarins and floral patchouli gives it a little kick and even has a fantastic burn time of up to 84 hours. £35

4. This beautiful scent of Sweet Orange, Geranium and Chamomile Luxury Natural Candle makes you feel like you've been transported into a sunny English garden. The citrus hints are really calming, and the soot-free natural wax lasts up to 60 hours. £25 from Crystal Spring

5. The German made Citrus & Rosemary Urbanara Alzey Scented Candle is made from 100% sustainable rapeseed wax and infused with pure essential oils. Other scents include blackcurrant, orange, wild cherry, cinnamon, lavender and verbena mint with a 30 hour burning time. I lit this when I was having a bath and the smell was lovely. £10 from Urbanara

The luxury Anantara Dhigu Resort & Spa in the Maldives looks incredible, I would love to go there someday. How cool would it be to have a little hut right in the sea? Heaven!

I'm a big fan of TK Maxx and go to different branches around the UK scouring the shelves for great homes and interiors bargains, as well as gifts for friends and family. We were invited to a fun event held at the Charing Cross Road branch in London where we spent some time shopping, browsing, drinking delicious juices whilst listening to the silent disco DJs! We also overdid the photo booth a bit...
