London Food: Daphne's ice cream cart





How cute and pretty is this little cart? I want to steal it, run off and wheel it back to my flat!! In celebration of the arrival of the warm weather, Daphne’s restaurant in Kensington has created a beautiful bespoke ice cream cart offering six summer flavours inspired by the festive tennis season.  


The ice cream cart will be parked in front of the restaurant on the 6th and 7th July, and will be offering takeaway cones.

The treats will also be available on Daphne’s A La Carte menu where one can relax in the open roof conservatory and enjoy the iced treat in addition to the restaurant’s famous seasonal Italian cooking.  

Flavours on offer: 
- Strawberry and Shortbread Smash:  
Ice cream made with English strawberries and homemade all- butter shortbread 

- Lob? It was on the Lime:   
Green grass and lime sorbet created by infusing fresh lime juice with green tea 

- Pimm’s and Cucumber sideline sorbet:  
Pimm's sorbet with a candied cucumber peel garnish 
  
- Grand Slam Orange Barley Granita:  
Pure orange sorbet 

- Peach and Prosecco Ace:  
Sorbet made from Italian blush peaches and infused with Prosecco 

- Chocolate and Deuce Dolce di Latte Ripple:
Ice cream made from Italian Amedei chocolate rippled with smooth toffee sauce
