The Glastonbury experience

Anyone that has been to the other world that is Glastonbury festival will know what I'm talking about when I say there is NOTHING like it anywhere else. Some people have been going for 20 years, and a lot of people even bring their babies.

Despite growing so big, the festival has stayed true to its hippy roots from the 70s, and you can really feel this vibe when you are there every day. It consumes people, everyone is so friendly, there is so much to do, so much ethnic food to try and the music is incredible. I have now been four times and I still haven't seen everything - it's impossible.

The line up is great every year, and there is so much good music to see that you have to prioritize, skip certain artists and even go off on your own to see things if the group of friends you are with isn't keen. There is something for everyone, though, and every genre you can imagine. There re comedy tents, circus areas, craft field, healing field, green futures field, lots of different stages, etc. etc. I could go on.

The best thing about Glasto is that you could roam around with no purpose, and meet so many fun people and find something extraordinary every day that inspires you. You are in a different world for five days, and for me it now feels like another home.

Thank you Michael Eavis!!!
