Whilst looking for something online I stumbled upon a sweet and quirky beauty competition for UK cow of the year! Random you think...but it's being run by The Collective, a New Zealand yoghurt company that now sell their products in the UK. OK, it's still a little bit random but cute, "because gorgeous cows make gorgeous yoghurts"!
Anyone can submit head shots of their candidate of choice by uploading it to www.cowoftheyear.com and be in with the chance of winning £1,000. As part of 'Cow of the Year' The Collective will be supporting and raising awareness of local community farms and will donate £500 to the winner's chosen farm.
Check out their yoghurts on their website, and some cow candidates below! Go and vote for your favourite beautiful cow :) Closing date for entries is 15th of April for cows and 22nd April for drawings or imitation pictures.
