This is amazing! I've seen lots of things made of chocolate, sweets, and all sorts of interesting materials but have never seen such a gorgeous dress, and entirely made of Lindt chocolate! But I wonder how it didn't end up breaking all over the place? Maybe it's only half chocolate half plastic??
Crafted using 50kg of Lindt EXCELLENCE chocolate and taking a painstaking two weeks to create, the sweet, show-stopping dress will be officially unveiled at Salon du Chocolat’s world famous fashion show in London this Friday (18 October).
The dress, entitled Eternal Diamond, was designed by Graduate Fashion Week Gold Award winner 2013, Lauren Smith (23), in collaboration with the renowned Lindt Master Chocolatier and was specially created by award winning food artist, Paul Wayne Gregory.
The dress has been crafted entirely by hand with several hours spent on perfecting the intricate detailing and embellishments alone. The final dress then needed a further 24 hours to be hand painted with Lindt EXCELLENCE chocolate.
